The 12th Annual Library Leadership Institute (http://lib.hku.hk/leadership/2014.html) which will be held in Shanghai from 16-20 May 2014, in conjunction with Fudan University Library, Shanghai.
The theme of the 12th Institute is “Library Leadership in the Asia Pacific Century”. This annual event has two major goals: to develop and enhance library leadership and management skills and to facilitate contact and collaboration between library leaders throughout Asia as well as those involved in Asian librarianship internationally.

The costs for the institute cover instructor fees, course materials, four nights lodging, breakfasts, lunches and dinners. Applicants may apply for a partial scholarship by checking the Scholarship Requested Box on the application form (http://lib.hku.hk/leadership/2014.html) and attaching a brief statement indicating why financial support is critically needed.
Applications must be received by 1 March 2014. Those accepted into the program will be notified by 7 March 2014. A cheque (HK dollars or US dollars) for the full cost of the workshop will be due by 11 April 2014.
